Mr. Mike & all other Bronc fans (isn't this fun?) I wasn't referring to the causing of turnovers as lucky. I think the Bronco defense is great, even if it didn't cause turnovers. The luck is in how many were returned for TD's. Also, that Tom Flores didn't just kick the winning field goal on the 10 yd line is strange, if not a tremendous break. When Craig James fumbled, I know it was stripped, and that is good defense. But to return it for a TD a la the Green Bay game is luck. I know I'm not going to lose any money on the Broncos. Actually, I don't hate the Broncos. I'm just bitter because Green Bay kicked them all over the field and still came up short. It is interesting that GB got a new kicker after that game and their record reversed itself immediately. This shows the value of a good kicker. I hear Jan Stenerud will only bring a 7th round draft choice. He was something like 20-23 this year (about average for him over the past 4 years). I think he is as valuable as a good QB. Any comments on this?
