As long as the Packers - Bears rivalry remains intact, it doesn't matter
whether the NFL realigns itself or not.
I would like to see the subdivisions labelled as NORTHERN, CENTRAL, and
SOUTHERN. This would leave your EASTERN division intact, with only one
different subdivision labeling. The WESTERN division would be as follows:
NORTHERN CENTRAL SOUTHERN
Chicago Denver Houston
Green Bay Kansas City LA Raiders
Minnesota St. Louis LA Rams
Seattle San Francisco New Orleans
San Diego
