Bears-Vikes game last night was a snoozer *until* Jim McMahon entered. **BOOM!!** 70 yard TD pass on first play. **BOOM** 25 yard TD pass on his second play from scrimmage!! **BOOM** 43 yard TD pass on next series! He was totally awesome!! I can't remember the last time I saw one player come in off the bench and turn things around so completely. I hope McMahon doesn't get injured again. Steve Fuller is OK, but let's face it, without McMahon the Bears are just slightly above average. With him, they look like Super Bowl material.

Denver started one of those barely adequate qbs they were forced to use at the time and by the mid third quarter were down 35-10. They brought in Morton (I'm pretty sure this was his last year) who hadn't started due to extreme gimpyness. Morton threw TD passes on something like 3 of his first 6 throws, and brought Denver into the lead within about 6 minutes. Those of us watching in Seattle got bad headaches and had to change channels. Peter B
