AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!! Faint, thud !!!
Those were just some of the comments of our good friend, George, Sunday morning
after finding out just how poorly he did on Saturday. He actually didn't do
that bad. He picked 16 winners, 12 losers and lost 9 to his spread. For the
year, he still is over 50% (57% to be almost exact). He had a better week
with the point spreads, picking 3 games exactly. Here are his spread totals:

Some of you have commented that George's top twenty needs some work. We agree
whole-heartedly. Iowa has no business being 10th but that's where we find
them again this week. Once again, George bases his poll on power ratings
which adjust based on the prediction of the last game played and its
result. Iowa picked up one power rating point this week (pred: Mich by 5
rslt: Iowa by 2; diff=7, adjust by 1 point). Notre Dame cracked the top
twenty again and they have no right being there. Anyway, Michigan retains
its number one ranking even though they lost that great game to Iowa.
This late in the season, it will take a major upset to change this balance.
We hope that things work out. We can re-run the whole season based on a
different starting power rating for each team and see where that takes us
but more on that later in the season. So without further ado, here are
George's top twenty or so.
