Next weekend the Canadian Football League (CFL) will be holding their
championship game (no, not the Canadian super bowl because this
tradition goes back over 50 years). The teams involved will be the
British Columbia Lions and the Hamilton Tiger Cats. This is the 4 th
appearance of the Lions in the Grey Cup game and about the 20 th for the
Ti-Cats. B.C. had a good season finishing 13-3 while Hamilton was 9-7 I
believe. The experts expect B.C. to win but anything is possible in a
single game. Too bad none of the American TV networks will be televising
the game as the Grey Cup tends to be rather entertaining.

Go Lions!!!!!!!!!!
      Sorry about that Al.

Hamilton finished 8-8-0. With their thrashing of the Montreal Concordes in the
Eastern Final at Ivor Wynn Stadium in Hamilton 50-26, the TiCats are headed for
their second straight Grey Cup appearance. Last year, the TiCats gave the
Winnipeg Blue Bombers a run for their money in the Grey Cup game despite having
a much worse record. The Blue Bombers were eliminated this year by the B.C.
Lions in the Western Final.

The B.C. Lions last appearance in the Grey Cup was in 1983 when they lost to
the Toronto Argonauts by one point. The B.C. Lions had the best record in the
CFL this year. It should be an interesting game, however, B.C. has the
potential to make it a laugher. I'm still pulling for those TiCats though.

Go TiCats!!!!!!!!!!!
       Sorry about that Eric.
