< Despite their loss in overtime (seventh or eight time they've lost <in overtime. They really seem to be jinxed in that department!) on Sunday, <they are having a great season. They are 8:4 overall and 5:1 in their <division! Considering the powerful teams in the AFC East division, that is <quite an accomplishment! But how good are their chances? Can they take the <division title? Can they finally win a game in the playoffs (in both their <two previous appearances they lost their first game)? How far can they go? I can't argue about the Pats having a good year, but I'd like to clarify something re: their powerful division. The Bills and Colts are pretty poor. That leaves the Jets and Dolphins. In 3 games against them, they are 2-1. Sure that's not bad, but I'm not sure they could even AFFORD to be anything less than that. Think about it - they beat the Jets/Dolphins at HOME. They lost to the Jets (barely) on the road, and their remaining tough divisional game is on the road (in Miami, where they are 1-17 lifetime!!). Who knows, they MIGHT just end up dead-even as far as their tough divisional games are concerned. re: Pats OT jinx. I THINK I just heard that they are the ONLY NFL team to NEVER have had an OT win (0-8). Happy Thanksgiving.
