I can just hear the voices coming out my TV on Super Sunday, when I'm in the kitchen getting the final cold one: "Hand off to Payton. Cuts off tackle. He's got room. Brought down at the Jets 25. 45 yards on the carry for Payton. He nows owns the Super Bowl record for most yards gain rushing in a game, 232. Oh, my. There's the gun, final score: Jets 20 Bears 17." Walter Payton is the greatest back that I've ever seen, but the +100 record he pulled off last night won't be one of the major points I bring up when I ever have to defend him as the greatest RB in my life time (I'm too young to remember Jim Brown.)

Yeah, I have to admit that I don't understand why Mad Mike didn't run Walter from the start. Fuller was no match for Marino (even without the bad calls).
