I was watching my Denver Broncos rake havoc on the one Oakland Raiders. The score at half-time reflicted a Raiders team, as beat and done. Rich Karlis missed a field goal, but that's okay. The Broncos Offense came on the field, but a different Bronco Offense, must have been a college bottom 10 team. I have not seen such an offensive turnaround, in all my days as a Bronco fan (some 18 years now). I am posing this question to the net, who kidnapped the Broncos Offense, and what is the ransom, you wish to be paid. I am leaving the net December 31 so please respond soon. Go Broncos Mike Schwarz

>I am posing this question to the net, who kidnapped the Broncos Offense, and >what is the ransom, you wish to be paid. It was probably the top 3 AFC East teams, all of whom benefitted from Denver's loss to LA. It is possible that the Bronco's will go 11-5 and not make the playoffs. If the Jets, Dolphins, and Patriots all finish at 11-5 (or better), they all make the playoffs and Denver is out (assuming LA wins the West). Since those East teams are now 10-4, there is a good possibility of that happening. On another note, it is also possible that the Jets and Giants will both be host teams for the wild-card games. Since the wild-card games are scheduled for December 29 and both the Jets and Giants play in the same stadium, the NFL has got a problem. Most likely, one of the games would be played on Saturday, Dec 28. But a game that day would conflict with college bowl games that are being televised on both NBC and CBS. Hopefully, both the Jets and Giants will will their division so that won't happen. -- Bernie Dougan CONCURRENT Computer Corp (a Perkin-Elmer Company) Southern Development Center 2486 Sand Lake Road Orlando, Florida 32809 (305)850-1040 ..!{decvax,ucbvax,ihnp4}!vax135!petsd!peora!bd
