This seaso started out chaotic, with several perrennially weak teams coming on strong and some usually strong teams off to a slow start. That streak has ended, and my picks have gotten easier! Anyway, on to this week's action: Chicago at NY Jets Bears 20:17 Kansas City at Denver Broncos 17:13 Buffalo at Pittsburgh Steelers 21:10 Cincinnati at Washington Redskins 17:13 Green Bay at Detroit Lions * 27:24 * Houston at Cleveland Browns 17:10 Indianapolis at Tampa Bay Bucs * 20:13 * Minnesota at Atlanta Vikings 21:13 NY Giants at Dallas Cowboys * 27:24 * Philadelphia at San Diego Chargers 20:17 St. Louis at LA Rams Rams 21:10 San Francisco at New Orleans 49ers 24:13 Seattle at LA Raiders Raiders 27:24 New England at Miami Dolphins* 24:23 * * Green Bay at Detroit -------------------- The Lions have beaten the Cowboys, Dolphins, and Jets at home. The Pack doesn't compare with those teams. * Indianapolis at Tampa Bay ------------------------- I have been commenting on the Bucs offense all year. Now is the time that they can prove their power and beat the tough Colts defense. * NY Giants at Dallas ------------------- The Cowboys are tough at home, and they have that incredible ability to psych up for these division-title-on-the-line games. Also, they want to prove something after their embarrassing loss to the Bengals last week. * New England at Miami -------------------- I know that I have been saying that this is the Patriots' year, but that was when Miami looked back. In the last two or three weeks, Miami has come back with the power. As much as I wish otherwise, I have to pick Miami in the Orange Bowl. If this were in Boston, I'd go with the Patriots. On neutral it would be close (maybe too tough to pick). That's it for this week. Have a good weekend! Robert A. Ekblaw
