Well, I thought George's basketball predictions were a joke, but
this Top Twenty-five is disgusting.
George picks Michigan #1 despite the fact that every other poll
on earth picked Oklahoma. As big a travesty as this is, the rest of
the poll exceeds it by a wide margin.
Nebraska #3??? I am as big a Cornhusker fan as there is, but I
will not delude myself into accepting this. Nebraska made way too
many mistakes on offense this year (costing them the Florida St. game
and the Fiesta Bowl), and they were destroyed in front of my very eyes
by OU. The Huskers nearly gained 400 yards against the Wolverines.
They only had around 225 against OU.
Also, OU gained about 475 on the Huskers while Michigan managed a
paltry 225 or so. Michigan is better????
The funniest part of the poll is that George picked his life giving
school, Georgia Tech, behind archrival Georgia DESPITE THE FACT THE
YELLOWJACKETS BEAT THE BULLDOGS!! I know that Georgia likes to put
down GTech, and this will be perfect fuel for many more jokes.
Finally, the ranking of Penn St. is beyond belief. They beat
Maryland, #10 in your poll, beat Alabama, #16 in your poll, and they
gave OU their best game of the year since Holieway became the starting
quaterback. Give these guys some respect please.
By the way all you pitiful Longhorns down in Austin TX, OU IS
GOING TO KICK TEXAS' BUTT ALL OVER THE FIELD AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!!!!
