Pac 10 does better than the Big 10 in big games? Pac 10 was 2:2 in bowl games this year and Big 10 3:3. Seems even to me, unless somebody can't do simple math. Robert (note that he can't even get my name right. Not much on brains, is he?) A. Ekblaw

Ekblaw Aahh, ekblaw, do I detect a note of bitterness in your tone? Obviously. When I said big games I meant big games and I don't think the Peach Bowl qualifies or whatever bowl that matched Army and Illinois. Nor do I con- sider the Freedom Bowl a big game. By big games I meant the four played on New Years day, including the Rose Bowl. And since as you are probably aware (although it's hard to tell, considering who I'm dealing with), the PAC 10 thoroughly beat the tar out of Iowa in THAT big game! Sometime in the distant future, when and if the big 10 wins a Rose Bowl game again, get back to me. Of course by the time that happens, you'll be too old to finger a keyboard.
