<I firmly believe that the Bears can lose the Superbowl, as I have said <before. But it won't be New England beating the Bears, it would be the <Bears beating themselves. On many occaisions, I have seen teams just <out and out lose, which is radically different than getting beat. To <me, the Cubs of '84 simply lost the playoffs (they had such a big lead <in almost every game, plus they led the series 3-0). 2-0, but you're right, they DID blow it. < <Although I am a Bears fan, I will not feel bad if they lose the Superbowl, yes you will - but don't worry, they won't (lose, that is) <because in everyone's heart and mind, the Bears have to be the best team <in football - this year, if not of all time. With a little more offense, they just might be. All the more reason to feel bad IF they were to lose, because they really have no business losing. < <Pretty funny how easy it is to eat crow in public... < yea, but you don't HAVE to - not now, or after SB XX. When you're the best, it's REALLY easy to be humble and magnanimous. I think it also keeps the fans on your side. <mike schwartz @ 3Com Corp. joe carbonaro @ Bell Labs
