Michigan lost to Iowa 10-12, and tied Illinois 3-3 (both away games). The closest other game that they played was a 28-24 win over Nebraska in a bowl game. Other than that, their smallest margins of victory were 8 points (over Notre Dame), 10 points (over Ohio State), 20 points (over Maryland), AND ON UP (27, 27, 31, 31, 41, 47). And they didn't have a weak schedule. -- Chris
