Do any of you know of a source for a library of device models for use with the circuit analysis/simulation program SPICE? I am particularly interested in models for discrete devices such as transistors, diodes, unijunction transistors, etc as opposed to devices that form part of a monolithic integrated circuit. In the transistor category (the most important to me) I am interested in bipolar, junction field effect and MOS field effect devices. As a new SPICE user I don't have models for any specific devices, just a few "generic" npn and pnp devices. It would be nice to have models for common JEDEC standard transistors and perhaps others as well. Surely other SPICE users don't make up each device model as needed and then throw it away. Are there libraries out there? I realize the *nobody* uses discrete transistors anymore ;-> but I do sometimes. Perhaps net.analog or net.lsi could serve as a clearing house for such models. Any ideas out there? What about some of the sites at semiconductor companies? Do you have models for the devices you manufacture? Would you be willing to share them with the rest of us? I'd prefer (wouldn't we all) a library in the public domain but if you know of one for *sale* I'd like to hear about it too. Mail replies, if any, will be summarized for the net. Thanks for any help.
