[] *** CAESAR Info Wanted *** I am about to begin a project to port Caesar to a Silicon Graphics IRIS1400 workstation. I would greatly appreciate any information, hints, tips and pointers that might help in making this port. The IRIS1400 runs System V Unix with some 4.2 like enhancements. This work is being done at Brown University, and upon completion will be released to the public domain. In particular, following is a wish list for sources and types of information: *Anyone who has already ported Caesar to an SGI machine. *Anyone who has ported Caesar to a System V Unix machine. *Anyone who has implemented Caesar for displays not supported in the Berkeley distribution. Also, from anyone who has worked with the sources for Caesar, pointers to any critical parts of the code that may be hidden or may have any particular idiosyncrasies, would save me much thrashing time. Infinite thanks in advance to those who are able to provide any insight. -Ken --- Organization: LEMS (Laboratory for Engineering Man/Machine Systems) Brown University, Division of Engineering USmail: Ken Robbins P.O.
