There are several sailors with varying degrees of skill here at Periphonics on Long Island. Some have sailboats, other are powerboaters. I am one of the latter. My boat is a 1982 Galaxy 19' bowrider. Power is from a Volvo Penta AQ125 (120 h.p.) with a Volvo 270 stern drive. Most of my boating is on the south shore of Long Island, which includes the Fire Island area. This is mostly in the Great South Bay. I spent a few years on the Sound, but found more to do on the south shore. I am looking to see if anyone ever changed an AQ125/270 to an AQ145/280 with power trim. -- Jeff Weissman decvax!harpo!floyd!peri!jeff
