Boat rental on Chesapeake Bay info requested: I am interested in renting a sailboat for a long weekend this summer. We would be a party of four, so we are talking at least in the 26 foot range, here. The location of choice would be the norhtern end of Chesapeake bay. Oh helpful soles of the net, does any one have any ideas/tips for finding a renter, and once that problem has been solved, how much money is involved? Also, I am not familiar with the details of license requirements. I have extensive sailing experience (including teaching), both inshore and offshore on boats ranging from 14 to 39 feet. However, due to a series of international moves, I did not sit for any licenses. Will any renters rent boats of the 26 foot size to unlicensed sailors? Ah, how grateful I would be if anybody could give me a few addresses of renters which I could contact about renting a boat... Bernard H.
