I have just joined the network and had a couple of questions. Has anyone had a experience with the Uniden radios? I am considering one for use in the RI (Block Island ) area. I have also been lookin g at Loran systems , it appears that they are going to be at radio prices soon. Based on the little I have been able to study I think that the Ratheon RAVNAV550 is the best unit for the price on the market. Any experience with one out there? How about best prices?
