Several people were kind enough to respond to my query on Sextants. The Freiberger sextants (both 3/4 and full size) are the choice of most netters, with the Zeis Iena also being mentioned as a good sextant. It seems everyone on the net appreciates Plath from afar due to their high price. Kelvin Hughes of London was recomended by two people as a good source. Two question remain: Does anyone know a source for the Freiberger in Conn./R.I./Mass or NYC area? OR Does anyone have the address of Kelvin Hughes in London? Thanks in advance.
