I learned to sail on a Shark. It was always nice to get a strong downwind breeze in the middle of a race and surf through the entire fleet!! However, this has to be one of the worst light air boats I've ever been on. There are some (used to be anyway) excellent Shark sailors sailing out of the Kingston Yacht club in Kingston, Ontario.
