You'll have to read this quick, because if it is right my life may be
in danger....

Consider the "evidence":
i). Labor secretary Donovan's involvements, and the strange
circumstances surrounding the deaths of witnesses in his "trial".
ii). The frequent presence of Frank Sinatra at government functions.
iii). The key economic role played by the Teamsters, as prime movers
         of goods across this country.
iv). The seemingly unbounded availability of money to elect key
         government officials.
v). The number of public officials willing to get involved with
         scams (WATERGATE, ABSCAM, etc**N)
vi). The number of lobbying organizations willing to pay protection
         money for their business.
vii). The inability of our legislators to legalize lucrative illegal
         victimless crimes
viii) The BLATANT overcharging which perennially occurs in defense
         related industries.
   (The list DOES go on!)

The obvious solution, elegant in its mathematical simplicity, is that
the Mafia is gaining control of our government. In point of fact,
it is well known that criminal moneys have been channelled
(laundered) into previously legitimate businesses for many years now,
and there might well be reason to believe that it has been simply
slushed farther down the pipe into regulatory commissions and
legislators' pockets.

I'm not telling whether I really believe this or not, but it has
an irresistable attraction. ( 8-@ )
