The righteous James Watt has done it again, he's put his foot (and leg)
in his mouth again. He announced that rock and roll attracts the
'wrong element' at the 4th of July celebration at the Washington
Monument. Instead of the Beach Boys who Bush and Deaver like, Wayne
Newton will perform this summer. I don't mind so much that Wayne
Newton will be performing, but instead of Watt quietly lining up
Newton, he has to go out of his way to denounce rock and roll as
attracting the 'wrong element'. The man just has to put his foot
in his mouth! I've never seen a man in the administration who is so
insensitive to other poeple. Watt an ego! Hopefully he will become
such a liability that either Reagan will dump him or will be dragged
down with him.
