With respect to the 19 incidents between 1946 and 1973 in which US
strategic nuclear arms were involved (such as the bombers dispatched to
Uruguay during the inauguration of a president there in Feb 1947), and
the 215 incidents in which the US employed its armed forces for political
purposes between 1946 and 1975, including Vietnam (invasion, 1960),
Cambodia (invasion, 1970), Laos (invasion, 1960), Guatemala (invasion, 1954),
Lebanon (invasion, 1958), Dominican Republic (invasion, 1965),
Brazil (coup, 1964), Iran (invasion, 1953), Congo (invasion, 1960),
and so on, I would like to submit yet another oxymoron to the net:
