Just to bring up a lighter note -- Any folks out there who like to saty up late and watch, NOT Carson and NOT the Late Movie and NOT MTV, but the public issues forums like ABC News NIghtline, and, to some extent, PBS Latenight. Both of the shows' hosts are adept and personable -- more so Dennis Wholey than Ted Koppel -- and make keeping informed about the state of the world somewhat more fun than getting teeth pulled. By the way, I"m a Canadian, as previously mentioned, and I find these two programs a great way to lern what is going on in that semi-civilised country of yours.
