Well, the left-wing is saying how brutal the US is & the right-wing is saying better to kick some *butt* now before Grenada was fortified. As I look at a map of the West Indies, it appears to me that *if* a group/nation/whatever held Cuba, Nicaragua, and Grenada, they could probably control the whole Carribean Sea. If you held Puerto Rico, Panama, and Grenada, you could probably control the eastern half as easily. Maybe the real issue here is the viability of the Panama Canal in time of war? (Sorry, just thinking "out loud".) At any rate, who can tell me the dimensions of the runway at Point Salines? I need width and length. I'm going to talk to a couple commercial pilots I know and see what you need to take-off/land a fully loaded 727-200 at 0' ASL in 95 degrees. I hope they can also tell me the poop on a 747.
