As I'm getting older I find I'm more interested in the politics that are going on around me and want to know more about them. Can anyone tell me how and where I can find what legislation is currently before the House of Representatives and also before the Senate,a brief overview of the proposed bill and which bill is its co-respondant in the other house ?????? Thanks, Dave Peak

8 November 1983 There is a publication called the 'Congressional Quarterly', which is actually a weekly, that should be available in your local public or university library. It covers upcoming legislation, recent votes, and has longer articles on topics of current interest. If you have a more specific interest and want to get exhaustive data on a piece of proposed legislation, go to a law library and ask for one of the reporter services that track congress, committee prints of hearings, and the Federal Register. That will give you essentially complete transcripts and texts of the legislation. Dani Eder Boieng Aerospace
