[net.politics] Washington Post

To left-leaning readers, the Washington Post seems "accurate" and "moderate".
However, after being disgraced professionally so many times as to it's
accuracy and moderation (even Mr. Carter sued the Post), I wonder how
anyone in good conscience could call it a "good" newspaper.

It is hard to believe that a daily newspaper can *always* produce
100% accurate stories, regardless of its political orientation.
True, the Washington Post may make quite a few mistakes, but it
is better than nothing, or a *heavily* biased version. If you are
very interested in a topic, you will probably seek more than one
source anyway (regardless of the newspaper you read).

Anyone who remembers Watergate could. I don't know what it's like now,
but it saved us from Nixocracy not too long ago...
