I'm just really disappointed that we give Nobel prizes and spend a lot of TV coverage on old Lech and his charming wife and STILL don't know how to pronounce his name. Or if we know how to pronounce it we don't know how to spell it. I mean is it too much to ask? How seriously am I supposed to take this fawning adulation when you people can't even explain to me who's to blame for the discrepancy between the spelling and the pronounciation of Walesa? I only had one very non-helpful reply to my last plea on this issue, and I'm writing labor, Poland, NBC, and net.politics off as dead losses unless I get satisfaction.
