I tried to send you mail but my system didn't like your address.
This is why I posted my reply to the net.
My "raised shields" & "armed phaser banks" are rather non-existent
whereas Ronnie R.'s will be very real. As far as personal defense goes
I believe in peaceful NON-VIOLENT resistance. I don't own any guns,or
carry any weapons. It's been at least 10-12 years since I have been
in any fight. The last time I was only 15 years old, and was assaulted
by two others. I resited this by first trying to verbally reason with
the other individuals, this didn't stop them though. My next action was
to leave the area. Although I did use some physical exertions to secure
my person, (i managed to break free and found shelter in a public building),
I did not resort to violence.
I believe this country and the President have a right to defend their
freedom and survival, but Strongly disagree with the methods they choose
in some instances. If Ronnie R. is so concerned about saftey (personal
and nationaly) why were the Marines guarding their compound with EMPTY
weapons? Why do the military commanders claim they never suspected a
terrorist would drive a truck bomb into the compound, when there are
numerous instances where identical methods were used in the region?
My shields and phasers are mental defenses of my opinions and/or positions
on subjects not large scale weaponry. I will verbally defend my statements
to the utmost of my abilities, if this bothers you I'm sorry. It's your
problem not mine, so I can't do anything about it. If you'd care to send
some facts to back up your positions please do. I try to maintain an open
mind, and am always willing to listen to the other side of an argument
or disagreement.
