[net.politics] Who is Lyndon Larouche, and what does he do?

Lyndon Larouche is the head of a far-left/far-right (they never seem to
be able to make up their minds) group called the US Labor Party.

The ideology is paranoid in the extreme - world interests manuipulated by
the Queen of England, imminent nuclear war (sounds familiar, doesn't it...),
Israel a Nazi concentration camp (a new peak in anti-Zionist rhetoric), etc.

They have a history of violence - for a while they were "cleaning up" the
American far left by beating up members of competing groups. Larouche is
protected by people with training in terrorism.

There is evidently a lot of money behind the USLP but no one really knows
where it comes from. For a while they had a computer software company, but
there was a big falling out between the head of the company and Larouche
(this was described in an article in ComputerWorld 2-3 years ago).

The USLP is presently trying to take over the Democratic party through some
front groups. I believe they tried the same thing with the Republicans in
the last election.

I believe that the Anti-Defamation League of the B'nai Brith has good
information on the USLP - among other things Lyndon Larouche is quite an
anti-semite.
