[net.politics] Oh, I gather I was a bit ambiguous-hunger...

Oops!

In my last set of comments on world hunger, I advocated
religious counciling. I was THINKING of, as it were,
DE-counciling, and most emphatically NOT religious training.
Religious training (and the divisiveness that it has brought
about <down to the tribal level in some places> ) I percieve
as a problem 99.5% of the time.

So. Let me replace the words "religious counciling" with
"religious deprogramming". I don't like the word deprogramming,
as it has brainwashing connotations, and I don't advocate
that at all. I do advocate counciling that removes traditional
divisive elements from primitive societies. <I don't
intend to eliminate religion, but I would like to see an
end to fanaticism. It's a touchy subject, and hard to tell
where to stop, though!
Whatever,
Thanks, Rich.
