An open letter to the Congress of the United States February 24, 1984.
Dear Congressman:
I am writing to ask how I may also become an agent of the United
States, like the Federal Reserve.
I would also like to purchase Notes from the government printing
office for a little over $.01 apiece for any denomination of
Note and reissue these to banks and other credit agencies and
charge interest on them without a promise to repurchase them in
lawful money.
I would even be willing to submit to an audit in the execution
of these transactions, which is better than the Federal Reserve
System, since (to my knowledge) they have never been audited by
the government.
I would also agree to follow Congressional legislation, this is
also better than what the Federal Reserve System is doing for
the U. S. at this time since telling you to your face that they
will neither follow your directives nor those of the executive.
I don't see how you can possibly turn down such an offer as
this. If you agree, please submit legislation to make me a
monetary agent of the United States of America.
Extremely Insincerely but always
Sincere in Freedom,
Warren N. Shadwick
