Last week the government released the latest findings on the extent of poverty in this country. In the last 3 years, poverty has increased by 3%. If this isn't evidence of Reagan's 'rich getter richer while the poor get children' type of government, I don't know what is. It's easy to make the economy look better when you take money away from people who aren't vocal and powerful enough to complain. Sharon Badian
