Sam Cramer calls Jesse Jackson an "anti-semite and liar"
Now certainly his use for the term "hymie", a derogatory
reference to Jews was in very poor taste, and displayed a
definite insensitivity.
Anti-semitism anywhere and everywhere cannot be tolerated.
Even in the Black community, the community that suffers the
most from racism, there is no excuse for slurs against another
people.
Jackson has admitted stupidity of his remark. Alas, our
language is so much a reflection of the racism that permeates
our society, from which none of us is entirely shielded.
However I think it is important to recognize
far greater crime that Jackson has committed. This is the
crime for which he is still unrepentant! Jackson has the
gall, the chutzpah, to recognize that Palestineans are a people
with full national rights! He had the nerve to meet with
the recognized leader of the Palestineans. He has the
nerve to call for talks with the recognized organization
of Palestineans. He has audacity to call for peaceful coexistence
between an Israeli state and a Palestinean state!
Is this not the true "crime" for which he is being vamped upon?,
not only by the fanatic JDL, but by the "respectable" media
and the ADL?
