Oh eater of lines...take me. Has anyone out there been wondering about Gary Hart's change since he began running in the top spot? It looks as if he is trying to become another John Kennedy clone. Everything from his hair style to his manner of speaking are rapidly changing to the Kennedy mannerism. He has even been using Kennedy quotes slightly modified to impress his listeners. I think the biggest thing that upsets me about this guy is his slogan. New Ideas. Well, just what in hell are those New Ideas? I have yet to hear what even one of them is all about. On the other hand, the only thing he has come up with so far are warmed-over, discarded claptrapisms from the McGovern campaign of long ago. Everyone rejected them then and they should be rejected now. Is this going to be another one of those pretty face elections? T. C. Wheeler

+ Hart DID NOT recently adopt Kennedy mannerisms and phrases! He has been using them since at least 1972 according to journalists who have been following his career since he headed the McGovern presidential campaign. Allen England at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Naperville, IL ihnp4!ihuxb!alle
