Right now the unemployment statistics happen to be computed under a Republican administration-- does that make them any less valid? No. Mr. Wheeler has never heard any Democrats claiming such statistics were just "claptrap from a Republican administration." Mr. Wheeler should give the same respect to similar statistics which show the bad effects of Reagan policies. It is another one of the unfortunate consequences of Reagan's administration however, that numerous statistics have ceased being collected because they are "too expensive". tim sevener pur-ee!iuvax!scsg
