Up here in Viking Land the "Christian" Christmas feast has several contents
that do not at all have anything to do with the story told in "the book".

The feast itself was before the catholics arrived (appr. in the year 1000)
and took other the scene (they were thrown out by the Lutherans 500 years
later since our king Gustav Wasa wanted to show independence of his
mighty catholic enemies !) a midwinter sacrificial meeting in
order to plea for the Gods to have the mercy to give us spring again.

We eat pork (blasfemish, isn't it, all you muslims and jews!) which is a
direct symbol of the Divine Pig at Valhall, Saerimner, who was slaughtered
every evening and woke up every morning after the party fit for another day's
struggle.

The Christmas tree is said to be a symbolic sacrificial tree where the tiny
little things that hang in it are the animals and slaves that were sacrificed
to make the gods happy. Christmas trees are often installed in the churches
at Christmas time !

Father Christmas I think has several origins only some of them with any
connection at all to the middle-east religion that otherwise has stopped
so much development in Europe (and its offsprings overseas) during the ages !

Last I would just like to remind you about another important historical
trace from these GLORIOUS DAYS of the Vikings:

Tuesday -- The day of Tyr (in Danish: Tirsdag)
Wednesday -- The day of Oden (in Swedish: Onsdag)
Thursday -- The day of Thor (in Swedish: Torsdag)
Friday -- The day of Freja (in Swedish: Fredag)

Thursday in German is Donnerstag which means... "The Day of the Thunder" !
To those that do not know it: Thor is the God that controls the weather.

Just to get some perspective on the RIDICULOUS ideas of restoring religion
as an AUTHORITY for knowledge in a modern society that come flowing from
the MM-people on this net.

You just don't understand. Christianity is TRUTH. All those other religions
are myth.
