Since the Russians (and probably many more humans with a homeland) are not coming to the LA Olympics, the hosts are now mounting a crash effort to recruit proxies (mercenaries ?) to represent the countries that are not participating. The grand plan is rather ingenious. Don't we have enough people in USA who can trace their roots to Russia, Germany, and wherehaveyou? Recruit them, train them and put on the show. And if they don't do too well, why worry? That will only bring more gold medals to the USA. Inspired by the CLASH, I am so bored with the USA!
