[net.politics] Books on Armaments

A good book on American arms, and the export thereof is "Arsenal of
Democracy II", by Tom Gervasi, Grove Press, 1981. Has all about American arms
that are exported to third world nations in dire need of them. Also
explanation of the economics of the MAP program which provides American tax
dollars to these poor nations so they can buy the arms from American weapon
manufacturers.

Also, of course, Jane's Guide to {Ships, Aircraft, Weapons} of the World
is the basic source for that kind of info. I don't know the publisher (in
England), but most libraries have this.

"So it's one, two three, what are we fightin' for? Don't know - I don't
give a damn. Next stop is..."
