Well, this is it. These are all of the opinions which were
expressed in the morality poll. The poll question was whether
there has been a decline in morals in the US lately. It is
nice to know that none of the rest of you have opinions, I
can disregard anything you say on the subject. Due to the dearth
of response I have included all results.

               ANSWERS/RESPONSES
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I definitely want to put in my vote for a weakening of both
morals and a not often talked about thing anymore: conscience.

No, there hasn't been an downgrading of morals.
Yes, there has been a general slide downwards of society in general.

I think that there has been an erosion of morals in this country in
recent years.

No, I don't think there has been an erosion of morals. Increased
crime points that way, but increases in various types of freedom
and equality point the other way; it cancels.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I find the last statement interesting, in view of the continuing
discussions in net.legal on taxes and licensing. I do not see the
increases in freedoms.

Oh good God, a morals poll? Just what we need, a bunch of
people telling another bunch of people whats wrong with
the way they are living...

What the hell is a "moral" anyway?
