Neither do facts. I'm getting just a little tired of hearing about how
the House is responsible for all money matters in the US government. It
neither originates everything having to do with spending, nor does it have
the final say in budget bills. Budget bills, like any other bills, must be
approved by both houses and signed by the President (ignore pocket vetoe, etc)
Is the Reagan syndrome (mouthing off on matters on which one is totally
ignorant) contagious,s there an epidemic?

Anyway, the deficit is a bipartisan effort. Senators and Congressmen and
presidents just love to shovel the money toward their constituents. The
only difference between Democrats and Republicans is a different constituency.

How about Nobody for President? Or is that what we've had since Johnson?
(over whom Nobody was a great improvement).
