Why would they surrender if they didn't have a chance to examine the ruins of Hiroshima and reach a decision? Why did the bombs have to be dropped so close in time? The second bomb was the induction step. The question answered was how many A-Bombs did the USA have? Seriously, the point of the second bomb was to prove the first was not a fluke. Larry Welsch houxu!welsch
