A movie documentary, "The Life & Times of Harvey Milk", is currently playing in New York & is getting a wide & favorable reception. Milk, "the Mayor of Castro Street" (see Randy Shilts' biography of the same name), was San Francisco's 1st openly gay Supervisor (the Board of Supervisors actually govern the city), a popular democratic Bay Area political figure, & camera shop proprietor.
