Please tell a hick from the provincial heartland of America why so many honest, hard-working, law-abiding and otherwise upright citizens are willing to scurry home every night and barricade themselves in their homes like so many Transyl- vanians trying to hide from Dracula, the Wolf-man and Frankenstein's monster? And why do they get so upset when a Dr. van Helsing decides he is mad-as-hell- and-not-going-to-take-it-anymore? And is a bunch of dead bolt locks and some fairy gates really any more effective than a crucifix and some wreaths of garlic for keeping the creatures of the night out of their home and away from their familys? Why are so many good people so willing to surrender their community to the mon- sters when the sun goes down? - Phil
