I try to read your postings Greg because you are one of the few supporters of the right-of-center crowd that is willing to discuss and not just attack (Yes, we are ALL guilty of that sometimes). But what is it with this "evil empire" kick? That argument only works from a certain point of view. I am sure that many people viewed the U.S. as an "evil empire" during its imperialistic days. I am not suggesting in any way that the Soviet system is better than our's (it's NOT) or that they don't have an awfull lot of skeletons in their closet (they DO). But don't expect, like our President seems to, that you can run around calling someone every name in the book and then expect him to meet with you on a friendly basis and agree to all of your demands. I think if we tried calling them a "paranoid empire" we might get further. I don't know about you, but I sure took exception when the Iranians were calling us the "Great Devil". Stick to your arguments and forget about the "buzz words". You do just fine without them. Oh, God! I wrote a fan letter to a conservative! ARRGH :-) *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE ***
