There was an interesting piece on the ABC evening news last night about how the U.S. Air Force is selling millions of dollars of materials needed to keep the fleet combat ready as surplus. They sometimes only get six cents on the dollar and then go out and purchase more of what they just sold. The problem is evidently caused by a faulty computer program that they thought they had fixed. I thought I would make the hawks out there aware of this so that they could volunteer their time to fix the program. Or is this why you argue that we must continue to increase arms spending? *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE ***

I know all the hawks out there were drooling at the prospect of getting more high-tech coffee makers and hammers from the obscene DOD budget request. But who would have thought we could get those $600 toilet units too? God bless Casper Weinberger! Remember, the cost of freedom is never too high! What's that I hear someone say? CUT the defense requests and use the money to HELP American citizens? Dirty Commie Bastard! *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE ***
