Nope, banning the sale of ammunition won't work either.  Gun shells can
easily be reloaded, and bullets can be made from melting down scrap lead.
It is done all the time by gun hobbyists, and obviously can be done also
by the criminals.  So really all banning the sale of ammunition would do
is cause an upsurge in reloading of old ammunition.  Also, gunpowder can
be made from scratch, too....
