Tariff laws may be good for the incompetants running American business today, but it is the consumers who pay. American industry has, generally speaking, blamed organized labor or foreign manufacturers for problems caused by shortsited management not keeping plants up to date (steel, automobiles, etc.), taking the fast buck rather than plowing some profits back into R&D, etc. Lately they have solved this problem by moving the manufacturing to places where labor is cheaper rather than keeping the jobs in the United States as is currently the case with electronics and computers. > REVITALIZE THE FAMILY FARM. Let the Congress pass any laws they wish and the Executive branch enforce those laws any way they wish... Constitution or not, huh? I'm going to become a doctor as soon as you get this passed. I have a surefire cure for cancer and will cure anyone who can pay enough as soon as this is passed also.
