I am working on a hazards analysis for the Corps of Engineers, and they are interested in estimating the chances of various disasters striking the water and sewer systems of San Antonio. One of the disasters that they expressed an interest in is nuclear war. So--does anyone out there know of any work that has been done to put a number on the chances of such a disaster occurring within say the next five years? Before you ask--No, the corps is not particularly interested in nuclear war in and of itself. I suspect that all of us would like the number to be small enough to forget. And, no, they have nothing up their sleeve w.r.t. San Antonio. It's just a place with a rather tender water supply. Thanks, hh
