[net.politics] Don Black responds

oaf@mit-vax.UUCP (Oded Feingold) (08/14/85)

Sir:

Thank you for your answer. I am pleased you enjoyed my posting,
though I found your message's subject line inconsistent with its
contents.

Since I presume you were displeased that Mr. Dimitrovsky quoted your
correspondence without leave, I hereby request permission to
retransmit your letter to net.politics. I'll agree to send it as a
unit, with lines numbered for easy reference. I intend thereby to
avoid any public inference that its content has been altered.

I am seeking legal counsel as to whether I may retransmit it without
permission, since I consider its contents of material value to the
public welfare, and perhaps the general peace. Please let me know if
you would like a written copy of any opinions I receive. They can be
notarized if you so desire.

I will take no action before receiving your reply, or one o'clock in
the morning, Eastern Daylight Time, 20 August 1985, whichever comes
first.

Thank you again for your reply. I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely yours,
--
